Our country, Greece

Hi! I’m Eleana and I’m 11 years old. I live in Greece. My country borders with Albania, FYROM, Bulgaria and Turkey.

Greece has mountains, rivers and a lot of islands. Greece is washed by the Mediterranean Sea.

The weather in Greece is fine almost all year. Summers are warm and winters are mild. The sky is blue and the sun shines.

Greeks are interesting people. They enjoy their lives. They are clever people.

In my opinion, Greece’s geographical location helped greek people to come close and know a lot of countries and develop their culture. I love Greece very much and I don’t want to leave from here!

The capital city is Athens. Athens has got the Acropolis, an ancient building, and a lot of other high or short buildings.

One nice island is Crete. It’s the biggest island in Greece. Crete has got nice beaches and views.
